We rely on innovative technologies to save you time and resources! That's why, since 2021, two mobile processing machines from Picum MT have been used in our tryout center, one for milling and one for welding.
The machines are based on classic serial 5-axis kinematics, but are movable and thus enable location-independent machining of tools. The respective machine is mounted on or next to the tool and positioned above the machining point.
It automatically detects the position and orientation of the workpiece by digitizing the surface by means of laser scanning (line and strip light) – detailed CAD data is not necessary for machining. For an adjustment, an NC code is then adapted to the current situation and the machine can start machining immediately afterwards.
You are no longer dependent on large milling and welding booths; the transport of your tools is reduced to the bare essentials and thus saves money with a positive side effect of sustainability.
