LÄPPLE has been producing body parts for the automotive industry since the mid-1920s. What began with the production of simple metal parts now even extends to the manufacture of complex hybrid structures.
As a partner to the automotive industry, we can accommodate the smaller volumes required for premium production vehicles as well as the large quantities associated with high-volume production models. With our many years of experience, we are able to respond to the changing requirements of automotive production. Whether it is a question of shorter life cycles, short-notice adjustments or an increase in quantities, we will come up with the appropriate solution thanks to our flexibility and know-how.
With our state-of-the-art tandem lines and transfer presses featuring pressing forces of up to 25,000 kN and bed sizes of up to 4600 mm x 2500 mm, we are capable of manufacturing pre-cut parts, blanks and pressings of every conceivable kind and with varying degrees of complexity.
Assemblies are our strength: from structural and attachment parts through to complex paintable sub-assemblies, our team produces products of the highest quality. Depending on requirements, these can be produced on fully or partially automated body-in-white assembly lines or by hand. For this, we use the latest technologies and joining techniques to assemble the parts, which are made from steel, aluminium or a multi-material mix.
